You can view and edit your Logos account settings by clicking your profile photo in the top right of your screen and selecting any of the options in the dropdown. Alternatively, from your Faithlife account, click your profile photo and select Account Settings.
The Account Settings section houses the following categories:
By default, your Profile tab is selected, which allows you to view and edit your profile. The tab is divided into multiple sections to give you maximum control over your profile. Any changes you make will be automatically saved.
This top section is always visible to everyone on Faithlife. Add a profile photo and other profile details to update it.
-
Profile Photo: Click the Camera Icon
and upload a photo. We recommend a photo 1024px × 1024px.
-
Display name: Your display name is the name that appears publicly on your profile. Some users prefer to use a nickname or an incomplete name (e.g., “Terrance J”) for their public-facing name rather than their full name.
-
Profile URL: Faithlife auto-generates a unique URL for your profile, but you can alter it in the input box.
This section holds more detailed information about you. You have full control of the details you provide in this section. Choose who can access each piece of information using the dropdown to the right of each field:
-
Me: You are the only one who is able to view this information.
-
Group Admins: Admins and moderators of groups you join can access this information. This allows your church to pull in important information you want to share (e.g., for the church Directory, for example).
-
Public: Anyone who has a Faithlife profile can view this information.
Update each field accordingly. Changes you make will save automatically. You can leave fields blank if they do not apply.
-
Display Email: Enter an email address at which people can connect with you.
-
Faith Background: Share your denomination.
-
Location: Share the city in which you live.
-
Phone Number: Add a phone number at which people can connect with you.
-
Organization: Share what organization you are affiliated with.
-
Role/Title: Share what your role is at your organization.
Two options appear at the bottom of the page, one to Deactivate the account and the other to Delete it.
To deactivate the account, click the Deactivate Account button. The confirmation screen advises you of some of the implications of doing this - including losing access to any subscriptions you have and purchases you have made.
Note: This will not cancel any payment plans. For help with a payment plan, contact Customer Support.
To confirm the deactivation request, you will need to enter the password associated with the account.
To delete your account, click the Delete Account button. The confirmation screen advises you of some of the implications of doing this - including losing access to all documents you have created in Logos, any subscriptions you have, and purchases you have made. Further verification checks will be carried out before actually deleting the account, with the account being deactivated while these checks are taking place.
Note: This is permanent and cannot be reverted.
As with deactivating the account, deleting it will not cancel any payment plans.
To confirm the deletion request, you will need to enter the password associated with the account.
You can change or reset your email or account password.
Note: To change your display email address only, view the Custom section of the Profile menu.
