Logos gives you the ability to create personal books in your library using .docx files. You can also add PDF documents to your library by converting them to .docx files. When you create a personal book, Logos automatically locates Scripture references in your document and links them to your preferred Bible.

Convert PDF Using Microsoft Word
1. Open PDF document in Microsoft Word.
After opening Word, select Open, and choose the PDF document you want to convert.
Note: If this is your first time converting a PDF document in Word, a popup window notifies you about the conversion process. Click OK to continue.
2. Edit the new document.
Since Logos builds your personal book using the Word document, review the formatting and make any changes before you continue. This article has advice on how to best format your document to be imported to Logos.
3. Save the document.
When you opened the document, Word converted your PDF to a .docx file, so now all you need to do is click the Save icon or Ctrl+S (Cmd+S for Mac).
4. Create your personal book in Logos.

Convert PDF Using Google Docs
Note: Word does a better job of converting PDF documents, so that is the preferred option.
1. Upload PDF to Google Docs.
Open Google Drive, click New and go to File Upload. Select the PDF you want to convert and upload it.
Right-click the PDF, click Open with and select Google Docs.
2. Edit the new document.
Since Logos builds your personal book using the Google document, review the formatting and make any changes before you continue.
3. Download the document.
Click File and follow the expanded options next to Download. Select Microsoft Word (.docx). Google downloads the new document to your specified location.
4. Create your personal book in Logos.
