We want to hear your suggestions! To suggest improvements in, or changes to, our products or to request new books are added to our catalog please open our Product Suggestion page here.
On the left are links a number of language-specific forums where you can make suggestions about the Logos or Verbum product (and there are additional language-specific options below those shown in the screenshot)
On the right are links to a forum where you can suggest new books to be added to the catalog and a forum to make suggestions regarding the development of Proclaim.
Making Requests for New Features
The English Suggestions one, for example, shows all the suggestions that have been made for the English version of Logos and Verbum.
Click one to see the detail of the suggestion and any comments that have been made on it. If you want to add your support to this suggestion, click the Vote Up icon.
Before submitting your own suggestion, it is really helpful to search the current suggestions to see if it has already been requested. If so, please add your vote - and any additional comments - to that suggestion so it is easier for the product teams to gauge which ideas have widespread support.
If you do wish to make a new suggestion, click the New Idea button.
Then provide as many details as possible in the ideas form, being as clear as possible about what you are suggesting.
You need to:
- Enter a title that summarises your idea
- Enter the details of your idea in the Body section
You can:
- Add an emoji using the emoji picker
- Add in image
- Add a piece of media
- Add a document
- Add a table
When you have provided as much information as possible, scroll down to the bottom part of the form and add appropriate tags.
You can do this by:
- Starting to type the name of a tag - such as Mobile app - and the box will list the possible matching tags
- Open the dropdown to select from the list of defined tags
- Select one of the popular tags at the bottom of the form
Please add as many tags as appropriate to make it clear which component this suggestion refers to - this makes it much easier for the product teams to understand which suggestions relate to their focus areas.
When you have completed the form, click Post (4) to submit it.
Note: There have been quite a few suggestions made for features that are actually already in the products. So it can be useful to ask a question in the community forums before making your suggestion. If the feature already exists you will be able to use it sooner and it helps keep the Suggestions forums for new features and functionality. You can ask a question using the New Post button here
Making Requests for New Books
The process for submitting books requests is very similar.
Click the Book Suggestions link to open the Book Requests forum. Again you can search for existing book requests and add your vote and / or comments to any that interest you. Click the New Book Suggestion button to create a suggestion for a new book.
Then provide as many details as possible in the book suggestion form, including explaining why this would be a good addition to the catalog.
You need to:
- The name of the book
- A description of the book and why it should be added to the catalog
You can:
- Add the name of the author
- Add ISBN details
- Add a link showing where more information can be found
Please use the tag Resources to indicate that this is a resource request, and click the Post button when you have finished entering your suggestion.
