You can save groups of tabs into Layouts for quick reference later from the tabs icon . Spend less time navigating the app and more time studying.

Create a New Layout

You can create a new layout from your currently open tabs. First, arrange resources in your tabs to fit your needs (Layouts will even remember linked resources.).

  1. Select the tabs icon  (you may need to tap the screen first to show the app icons).
  2. Tap the Layouts icon .
  3. Press the New Layout icon .
  4. Add a descriptive name and select Save

Note: Layouts sync between mobile devices.

Open a Saved Layout

Once you've created a layout, you can open it from the layouts editor. The Bible study layout created above includes a linked commentary and study Bible on the left, the linked ESV in the middle, and an open note on the right. When you're ready to start a study on any Bible passage, open this layout to automatically open this saved group of tabs.

  1. Select the tabs icon  (you may need to tap the screen first to show the app icons).
  2. Tap the Layouts icon .
  3. Select a saved layout.
  4. Tap Done.

While viewing any set of tabs, swipe with one finger to switch quickly between tabs.

Update or Delete a Saved Layout

After making changes to a saved layout (such as adding or removing tabs), you can update the layout by following a few simple steps:

  1. Select the tabs icon  (you may need to tap the screen first to show the app icons),
  2. Tap the Layouts icon ,
  3. Find the layout you've updated in your list and drag your finger across it to the left until you see three options appear: UpdateRename, and Delete.

Note: Dragging all the way to the border of your screen tells Logos you want to delete the Layout, though it will not execute the action without your permission.

  1. Tap the action you want to execute.
