When playing media from a resource, you might encounter a message indicating that Logos is unable to access it. The most reliable solution is to manually download the media files.
Here's how:
-
Click the More Actions Menu in the top-right corner of the panel.
-
Click Download all media.
-
Logos indicates that it is downloading media by replacing the option Download all media (or Delete downloaded media if you’ve successfully streamed or downloaded any media from the book previously) to Cancel media download.
Tip: Media files in Logos resources can be very large, ranging from tens to hundreds of gigabytes. The more media files a resource has, and the larger those individual files are, the longer the download will take1.
-
The download when Cancel media download is replaced with Delete downloaded media.
The media files will be on the machine locally and playable without the internet connection.
1To ensure your media downloads successfully:
- Keep your computer awake: Prevent your computer from going to sleep or entering power-saving mode during the download.
- Maintain a stable internet connection: A consistent internet connection is crucial for uninterrupted downloads.
- Keep Logos open: Logos needs to be running in the foreground for the download to progress.
By following these guidelines, you can minimize potential issues and ensure your Logos media downloads completely.
