How to Update Logos Bible Software

Whether you're trying to update Logos to the latest version of the software, or wondering where a recently purchased resource is, this article will show you how to make sure Logos and the library are up to date.

 

Make sure Logos is up to date

macOS

  1. Open Logos.

  2. To the left of the logo click Logos > About Logos Bible Software.

  3. The color indicator next to "Software" will be green if Logos is up to date; red if it is not up to date.

If Logos is not up to date, click here to download and install an update to Logos.

 

Windows

  1. Open Logos.

  2. In the top-right corner of the toolbar click the toolbar menu (three vertical dots) or the question mark icon (Logos 7).

  3. Click About Logos Bible Software

  4. The color indicator next to "Software" will be green if Logos is up to date; red if it is not up to date.

If Logos is not up to date, click here to download and install an update to Logos.

 

Make sure the Library is up to date

  1. Open Logos.
  2. Use the command update now to download new resources or the command update resources to check for and download updates to resources (this second command can take a long time to complete)
  3. Type either command into the bar at the top of the window and click the command that appears below.

Logos will look for updates to resources (books and other library files) in your library, and download them automatically.
