Using the Scan Command
Some 3rd Party publishers still distribute their materials in the Libronix Digital Library System (LDLS) format. LDLS is no longer supported, but these resources are compatible with the more current Logos Bible Software. Follow the steps below to scan these products into Logos.
This process is compatible with all versions of Logos Bible Software.
Step 1: Activate your Product
If this is a new product that you have not used in LDLS, please sign in to Logos.com and navigate click here to activate your new product.
If this is an old product that you have previously used in LDLS, you can skip this step.
Step 2: Scanning A Disc
- Insert your LDLS Product CD-Rom. (also works with LLS CD-Roms)
- Open Logos.
- Type the following command in the "Command" box at the top of the program:
(Mac Command: "Scan Optical Media")
- Your CD/DVD Drive will be listed. Select it. (Example: "Scan E:\")
- Close Logos, but do not remove the CD-Rom
- Open Logos again.
At this point, Logos should begin "Preparing your Library." This may take several minutes, depending on the amount of data to be scanned. Once complete, your books should be available in the Library. You may wish to repeat these steps with any additional LDLS products you own, if they are not already visible in the Library.
