The New Testament is full of figurative language. Figurative language is a deeply meaningful part of communication that is both difficult to understand and often overlooked. The Figurative Language dataset identifies the various types of figurative language within the Gospels and annotates them with information about the figure of speech itself as well as the meaning the author intends to convey with that figure of speech.
