Do you sometimes find that it can be rather cramped to access your Logos books, tools, guides, etc. while also trying to access the Internet and update a document in a word processor - and all of this on a single monitor? The solution to this, assuming you have more than one monitor connected to your computer, is to distribute these various applications across those monitors.
While it is only possible to have one instance of Logos running on a single computer, it is really easy to split Logos panels across two or more monitors.
The layout below demonstrates the problem. It's just not possible to read much of the biblical passage, to really study the commentary, to update notes, and so forth.
To address this, you can Float Panels and then drag them to a different monitor. Start by floating the Notes Tool,
which results in it becoming detached from the rest of the layout.
You can now drag this floating window across to a second monitor so that Logos panels are distributed across both of them.
You can now do this for another panel โ such as the Factbook โ and then drop it anywhere you want in the floating window on the second monitor. If you want, you can maximize a floating window so it takes up the entire monitor.
With those two panels removed, you now have space to reorganize the layout on the primary monitor resulting in something that is much easier to see and to use.
And, if you have more than two monitors, you can continue to distribute your resources and tools across as many of them as you wish!
