Problems Syncing Shortcuts

Print Friendly and PDF

Users new to Logos as of version 221 should not experience problems when syncing Shortcuts. Preexisting users experiencing problems syncing Shortcuts prior to version 22 have two options.

  1. Wait for version 23 to release, at which point the problem will be resolved automatically.
  2. Rename the Shortcuts folder and restart Logos after version 22 is installed2.

Before renaming the Shortcuts folder (explained below) verify that sync is enabled, and all items are up to date.
Place the mouse pointer over the sync arrows next to the shopping cart and notification center icon. (This will either be in the upper-right corner, or the lower-left corner of Logos.) You will see the phrase, "Synchronization is enabled, and all items are up to date" if sync is working as expected. If it is not you will see a red exclamation mark.

1 The numbering scheme within Logos has changed for what would traditionally have been named Logos 10.2. This version of Logos will be numbered version 22, and will appear in the About Logos Bible Software window within the Logos application as Logos Bible Software 22.0. The number scheme will increase with each number update (22.0, 23.0, 24.0, etc.).
