Missing Resources

Print Friendly and PDF

If you cannot find or open a resource in the Logos, Verbum, Biblia, Faithlife Study Bible, or Faithlife eBooks app, follow these troubleshooting steps.

Note: If after following these solutions you need additional help, tap the More Menu icon Hamburger icon, tap Help, and contact support by selecting Report a Problem.

Tip: Watch this video, and be sure that your Library search field is clear when browsing for a specific book title.

Solution 1: Verify Internet Access

The Logos Bible app is primarily “cloud-based,” meaning resources, search results, and many other features are internet-dependent. Be sure your device has an active internet connection before opening the app to ensure all features and resources are available.

If you did not have internet access when the app was opened, switch your device to Airplane Mode, then back again to refresh the connection.

Additionally, newer Logos resources require the latest version of the software. Ensure the app is updated on your device.

Solution 2: Verify Account Details

The Faithlife mobile apps display resources based on the account that is signed into the app.

Solution 3: Reindex your Library (iOS only)

Open the mobile homepage, and type rebuild index into the input field and tap enter.

Wait a minute or two with the application open, and then open the Library panel and search for the book again.

Solution 4: Manually Restart the App

By restarting the app, you will refresh the syncing engine.

On iOS:

  1. Open the App Switcher: with the Logos Bible Mobile App open, swipe up from the bottom edge of your device, pausing in the center of the screen to show the iOS App Switcher.
  2. Close the Logos Bible Mobile App: swipe away the Logos app card to close the app.
  3. Make sure you have internet access.
  4. Reopen the app.

  • Open the Logos app from your home screen or app drawer.

Note: Some Android devices use slightly different versions of the Android OS. If this method does not match your device's menus, please contact your device vendor for specific instructions to manually “stop” or close an app.

Solution 5: Re-Install the App

If your resources are still not visible, or if the wrong account is listed, reinstall with the instructions below.

On iOS

  • On your device, press and hold the app icon until all your icons begin to "wiggle."
  • Tap the "X" in the top corner of the Logos App icon and select "Delete."
  • The app icon will disappear.
